Job description

The Senior IT Project Manager oversees AI system projects and/or programs of a complex nature. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. You will bring project management discipline to Enterprise AI projects, coordinating across engineering, product, data, and partners to move evolving AI work into structured, deliverable execution.

The Senior IT Project Manager assembles and leads the project team, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure completion of AI delivery projects. Often manages stakeholder partnerships and mitigates risks. Familiar with the system scope and project objectives, and the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. When managing programs, oversees the interdependencies and integration of interrelated AI projects, and sets strategies and leads program execution to deliver longer-term business value.

Applies working knowledge of AI/ML delivery concepts, including model lifecycle, MLOps fundamentals, GenAI and agentic workflows, and responsible AI practices, alongside Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects. Partners effectively with product management and engineering stakeholders to translate technical direction into structured delivery plans. Begins to influence the department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5 or more years of technical project management experience
  • 5 or more years experience in technical product selection, technical design, and practical implementation of IT solutions
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML delivery concepts, including model lifecycle, MLOps fundamentals, GenAI/agentic workflows, and responsible AI practices
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Experience delivering AI or GenAI projects
  • Translate between data science, engineering, product, and business partners
  • Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • Hands-on fluency using AI tools to accelerate delivery, including generative AI assistants, agentic workflows, and workflow automation
  • Familiarity with responsible AI and model risk concepts
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, cloud-native data stacks)
  • Experience in the health solutions industry

Additional Information

This position follows a Hybrid work style (2-3 days a week in office). The candidate must live close to one of our designated IT locations: Louisville, KY; Tampa, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Dallas/Frisco, TX; Boston, MA; New York City, NY; Washington, D.C; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Chicago, IL, or Charlotte, NC.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$104,000 - $143,000 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
