This Radiologic Technologist position offers the opportunity to work in the operating room in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a city known for its scenic beauty, welcoming community, and vibrant lifestyle. You will support a variety of surgical cases with mobile C-arms and fluoroscopy, ensuring that high-quality images are available to guide surgeons in real time. You can expect to collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals, contributing to safe, efficient, and precise patient care. Typical responsibilities in this position include preparing and positioning imaging equipment prior to procedures, ensuring appropriate radiation safety and shielding, assisting with intraoperative imaging during orthopedic, vascular, spine, trauma, and other surgeries, and documenting and archiving images in the facility’s PACS. You will help maintain sterile technique in coordination with the OR team, verify patient identity and procedure details, and respond rapidly to changing needs during active cases. The work is hands-on, fast-paced, and highly collaborative, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and clear communication.
