Klamath Falls, Oregon Diagnostic Radiologist Locum Tenens Opportunity (Telemedicine)

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a remote diagnostic radiology reader for ED/urgent imaging coverage with overnight shifts. Read remotely using site PACS and Sectra VR in a teaching hospital environment where residents may be present.

Opportunity Details

  • Location: Klamath Falls, Oregon
  • Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
  • Setting: Remote diagnostic radiology (TELE) for ED/acute imaging coverage in a teaching hospital environment
  • Coverage: Ongoing/long term need
  • Schedule: Night coverage

Schedule Details

  • Night Shift: 19:00–07:00 (5x8-hour schedule)

Clinical Scope

  • Remote interpretation of ED/urgent imaging studies
  • Case mix includes CT, ultrasound (US), and plain film (PF)
  • MRI limited to emergent brain exams only
  • If no ED cases are coming in, remote reading may shift to the inpatient exam list
  • ER turnaround time expectation: 30 minutes for ER exams
  • Remote reading using site-provided PACS and Sectra VR

Practice Environment

  • Teaching hospital workflow with resident presence possible (overscanning may occur)
  • Remote reading environment using PACS and Sectra VR

Requirements

  • Board certification (ABR) required
  • Active Oregon (OR) medical license or willingness for client licensing in Oregon
