The Opportunity
This is a long-term leadership opportunity, not a short-term or seasonal position. We are looking for someone ready to commit for at least one year and grow within our center.
In this role, you'll serve as a key leader on the floor, balancing instruction, team support, parent communication, and overall center operations. You'll receive intentional, hands-on training to ensure you feel confident, prepared, and equipped to lead in any situation from Instructor to ACD.
What You'll Do
As Assistant Center Director, you are the right-hand partner to our Center Director helping lead daily operations and create an exceptional experience for students and families.
You will:
• Welcome families and create a warm, professional first impression
• Coach and support instructors during sessions
• Celebrate student progress and build motivation
• Communicate with parents about student growth
• Schedule assessments and explain our program to new families
• Keep sessions organized and running smoothly
• Support training and team development
You'll balance leadership, customer service, coaching, and operations - all while keeping the energy positive and focused on student success.

➗ Comfortable with math through Algebra 2
18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent
No experience? Our training covers it all!

Tech Expectations (High Priority)
This role requires someone who is comfortable with technology and systems or can learn quickly and confidently:
Navigate and work efficiently on an iPad / laptop during sessions
Use spreadsheets (Excel or similar) for tracking and organization
Learn and manage CRM systems for student notes, communication, and follow-up
Adapt to digital learning platforms and internal tools with ease
You do not need to know everything on day one, but you must be a fast, independent learner who is not intimidated by new systems and can pick them up quickly.

Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
