CNC Manufacturing Technician – Automated Aerospace Turning Centers


Up to $33.00/Hour • East Troy Area • 100% Onsite • Direct-Hire

  • EXPERIENCE DEPTH: 2+ years of professional CNC machining experience, which must include a minimum of 1 year of independent machine setup expertise
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS: Complete mastery of complex blueprint interpretation, foundational G&M codes, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
  • WORK SCHEDULE: Stable, fixed 2nd Shift layout running Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Enjoy every single Friday off)
  • EARNING POTENTIAL: Up to $33.00 per hour baseline base rate (fully scaling with setup depth and technical experience) + comprehensive corporate benefits

What You Will Be Doing
  • Performing complete, independent machine setups and operating automated CNC milling and turning centers to exacting engineering specifications.
  • Managing tool page offsets, adjusting fixtures, and replacing tooling to maintain incredibly tight tolerances across complex production runs.
  • Utilizing advanced precision gauging, micrometers, and specialized measuring instruments to ensure 100% quality compliance before parts advance.
  • Investigating, troubleshooting, and correcting mechanical or program-related deviations to optimize machine cycle times and maintain steady workflow.
  • Interpreting highly complex engineering drawings and applying rigorous GD&T benchmarks to ensure total part integrity.
  • Participating actively in shop-floor continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a highly organized, safe, and 5S-compliant cell.
What We Are Looking For
  • Machining Pedigree: A minimum of 2 years of professional CNC machining experience, with a solid, verifiable track record of at least 1 year executing independent component setups.
  • Quality & Precision Focus: Proven capability utilizing precision hand measuring tools and custom gauges to verify highly close-tolerance part features.
  • Professional Reliability: A stable, progressive work history demonstrating a high-precision mindset and full, long-term commitment to a fixed afternoon shift schedule.
  • Strong Pluses: High-value assets include prior experience working within Aerospace, Defense, or Medical manufacturing environments, or hands-on familiarity with multi-axis machinery.
