If you are looking to step away from dark, greasy job shops and establish a career home within a premier, climate-controlled, and exceptionally clean manufacturing environment, this direct-hire path is designed for you. This high-growth, technically sophisticated component manufacturer specializes in high-complexity, tight-tolerance production runs for aerospace, defense, and medical pipelines. Backed by highly secure contracts, the facility enjoys a stable, year-round project backlog protected from seasonal economic swings.

The shop floor is bright, meticulously organized, and fully air-conditioned to ensure maximum comfort. Additionally, by design, the stable 4-day schedule saves you 52 days of commuting per year, allowing for an outstanding personal life balance without sacrificing high-tier manufacturing compensation.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
  • Perform complete, independent machine setups and operations on automated CNC milling and turning centers to exacting engineering specifications.
  • Manage tool page offsets, adjust fixtures, and replace cutting tools to maintain incredibly tight tolerances across complex production runs.
  • Utilize advanced precision gauging, micrometers, calipers, and specialized measuring instruments to ensure 100% quality compliance before parts advance.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and correct mechanical or program-related deviations to optimize cycle times and maintain steady workflow.
  • Interpret highly complex engineering drawings and apply rigorous GD&T benchmarks to ensure total part integrity.
  • Participate actively in shop-floor continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a highly organized, safe, and 5S-compliant cell.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
  • 2+ years of professional CNC machining experience, with a solid, verifiable track record of at least 1 year executing independent setups on lathes or mills.
  • Strong technical blueprint reading skills and a practical understanding of G&M codes and GD&T concepts.
  • Proven capability utilizing precision hand measuring tools and custom gauges to verify highly close-tolerance part features.
  • A stable, progressive work history showing reliability, strong attendance, and a long-term commitment to past employers.
  • Prior experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Medical manufacturing (highly preferred but not required).
  • Proximity to the facility, with the requirement to reside within a dependable daily driving radius of the East Troy, WI area.
