The Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutch is seeking a Temporary Research Intern. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team to learn and complete assigned responsibilities related to modifying/converting lectures into data script summaries, review scientific literature and assist at clinics related to research participant support. 

This position is temporary at 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Modify/Convert existing lectures into data script summary.
  • Read/review scientific literature.
  • Assist with organization of scientific records management.
  • Assist at clinics with research participant entry and follow up in clinical research setting.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an interest in the sciences in clinical research or healthcare.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled at organizing and prioritizing work, able to work independently once instructed with the task and highly motivated.
  • Attention to  detail.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
