Job description

CentralReach is a leading provider of autism and IDD care software for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), multidisciplinary therapy, and special education. Trusted by more than 200,000 users, we enable therapy providers, educators, and employers to scale the way they deliver ABA and related therapies with innovative technology, market-leading industry expertise, and world-class customer satisfaction.
As a UX Product Design Intern at CentralReach, you will work alongside our product design team - supporting designers across multiple product areas as they tackle real challenges. This is a great opportunity to learn how design works at scale inside a healthcare SaaS company, get exposure to a variety of projects, and build skills in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Support senior designers across product teams with day-to-day design tasks - including creating and refining polished, high-fidelity UI designs using our Figma component library
  • Contribute to cross-platform user experience design initiatives across web and mobile applications
  • Help maintain and expand our design library, including organizing components, updating documentation, and ensuring consistency across Figma files
  • Assist in preparing wireframes and low-to-mid fidelity mockups based on direction from the design team
  • Support usability testing efforts- helping plan sessions, participating in live tests, and synthesizing findings into clear, actionable summaries
  • Contribute to design QA - reviewing shipped experiences against specs and flagging inconsistencies
  • Join design reviews and team meetings as an observer and contributor, learning how decisions get made across the product
  • Take on small, scoped design tasks independently as you grow more comfortable with our tools, processes, and product

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Recent graduate with a degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field
  • A portfolio demonstrating visual/UI design skills and an understanding of design thinking - even if projects are academic or personal
  • Working knowledge of Figma, including familiarity with design libraries, components, and variants - and a genuine willingness to deepen that expertise on the job
  • Solid understanding of how design systems and component-based design work in practice - not just using components, but knowing how to build and maintain them
  • Exposure to usability testing or user research methods
  • Curious, adaptable, and open to exploring AI-assisted design tools and workflows as part of the design process
  • Attention to detail and a genuine interest in consistency, craft, and keeping design files clean and organized
  • A collaborative, low-ego attitude - you are here to learn and contribute, not go it alone
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

What You'll Gain
  • Hands-on experience supporting UX work across a multi-product SaaS platform
  • Mentorship from senior UX designers and design leadership
  • A front-row seat to the full product development lifecycle
  • Competitive hourly pay and a collaborative, inclusive team culture
  • Portfolio contributions and real-world design experience

Base Salary Range
$10,000-$11,000 USD
