Staff Product Manager - Billing & Reporting

Socure

Carson City, NV

Full-time

Re-posted 20 days ago

Job description

Why Socure?

Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.

We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.

About the Role

Turn product value into revenue and insight. This role owns the zero to one build of Socure’s real time billing, usage metering, entitlements, and reporting on RiskOS. It sits at the center of our hypergrowth engine and connects product innovation to clean revenue, accurate forecasting, and executive level visibility. Work across Product, Engineering, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Business Intelligence to create a standardized billing foundation and a reporting layer that leaders and customers trust.

What You\'ll Do
  • Define the billing spec. Create and maintain a standardized billing and metering specification that every Socure product integrates with for consistent monetization and usage capture.

  • Build real time billing. Partner with Engineering to deliver a real time, event driven billing flow in RiskOS, including metering, rating, proration, discounts, bundles, commitments, and overage rules.

  • Lead billing modernization. Drive the migration from legacy systems to the new unified, real-time billing and metering architecture - ensuring data integrity, backward compatibility, and audit continuity.

  • Own entitlements and usage. Design APIs and SDKs that make it simple for product teams to meter usage and enforce entitlements with low latency and high reliability.

  • Report with clarity. Deliver core data products and dashboards for billing, usage, and performance. Provide executive and customer facing reporting that is accurate, timely, and self-serve.

  • Harden the data. Govern data quality, lineage, integrity, reconciliation, auditability, and SLAs for billing and reporting datasets.

  • Integrate the stack. Drive the roadmap for ERP, CPQ, CRM, and payments integrations. Examples include NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau.

  • Close the loop. Partner with Finance, Accounting, and RevOps on revenue recognition, month end close, forecasting, and dispute reduction.

  • Guide pricing and packaging. Advise PMs on the implications of new products and features. Enable experiments, price plans, discounts, and usage relationships without custom code.

  • Instrument and observe. Establish monitoring, alerting, and error budgets for metering and billing services. Reduce revenue leakage and silent failures.

  • Continuously improve. Identify gaps, propose enhancements, prioritize the roadmap, ship, and measure outcomes.

What You Bring
  • 4 to 7 years in product management or a similar role in SaaS or B2B technology with exposure to billing, usage metering, revenue operations, or financial systems.

  • Strong understanding of billing systems and financial data pipelines and how they integrate with product and platform architecture.

  • Proven record working with Finance, Accounting, RevOps, and BI to deliver tools, reporting, or data integrations that changed outcomes.

  • Ability to turn business and operational needs into clear specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, then drive execution across teams.

  • Familiarity with data modeling, pipelines, and API driven integrations, plus a point of view on reliability and governance.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication across technical and non technical teams with influence without direct authority.

  • Analytical mindset with comfort diving into data, finding issues, running root cause, and partnering to fix them.

  • Bonus experience with real time billing, usage analytics, or tools such as NetSuite, Snowflake or Tableau.

What Success Looks Like in Year One
  • Real time billing lives in RiskOS, with sub minute metering latency and reliable reporting.

  • Executive and customer facing reporting that is accurate, timely, and used in weekly and monthly business reviews.

  • Month-end-close faster by several days with clear reconciliation and fewer billing disputes.

  • Measurable reduction in revenue leakage and data quality incidents, with strong alerting and on-call health.
