Data Center Technician

We are seeking a Data Center Technician to play a key role in strengthening and modernizing security architecture across complex systems and platforms.

Job Summary

Seeking a Junior Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations in a high-scale cloud infrastructure environment (AWS-type DCs). The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of Linux, networking, server hardware, and cabling and be eager to grow in a data center environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in rack & stack installations and decommissions
  • Perform basic server hardware troubleshooting (break/fix)
  • Support structured cabling (copper & fiber connections)
  • Conduct Linux server checks (basic health monitoring, logs)
  • Perform L1 network troubleshooting (connectivity, cables, ports)
  • Work with ticketing systems (ServiceNow / Jira)
  • Follow change management & SLA guidelines
  • Coordinate with senior engineers, vendors, and onsite teams

Required Skills (Must-Have)

  • Basic Linux commands (CLI)
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Hands-on or academic exposure to:
  • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Rack & stack
  • Cabling (fiber or ethernet)
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset

Nice to Have

  • AWS / Cloud basics (EC2, S3)
  • Certifications:
