Summary

Provider Enrollment Specialists work as the enrollment liaison between Gainwell Technologies, Kansas Medical Assistance Program (KMAP) and the Kansas Medicaid provider community (direct physicians, groups, organization administrators, compliance officers, billers, and credentialing staff). This position is responsible for supporting and assisting providers with enrollment requirements and questions related to the enrollment, revalidation, and ongoing provider updates of records. Requirements of this role include delivering the highest quality end-to-end service and support, by concise communications, through analysis and adherence to timely response deliverables. You will be part of a team that handles phone inquiries to assist potential providers with questions about the enrollment process and troubleshooting issues that may arise when completing an enrollment application.

Your role in our mission
  • Handling phone calls and e-mails from KMAP providers related to provider enrollment topics.
  • Must manage multiple tasks and be able to function with strict timelines with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to strict time frames for processing applications and monitoring outstanding tasks.
  • Responsible for recognizing issues reported by callers that need to be escalated and completing the escalation process.
  • Follows up with providers on outstanding issues within contractual guidelines
  • Provides excellent customer service with professional verbal and written abilities while meeting documented quality standards

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
