Salary: $45,000/year ($21.63/hr)

Tasks:

  • Accurately complete all assigned tasks within the SEO team’s software system; maintain high attention to detail concerning all client instructions to maintain SEO best practices and client satisfaction
  • Lead the implementation of simple to advanced SEO Consulting work on client websites including but not limited to, building new web pages, and editing existing pages, optimizing images to ensure SEO strategies are effective
  • Edit and write original code to work with pre-existing systems to allow the work the SEO team creates to be displayed on the client’s website in a way that is aesthetically consistent and allows search engines to easily crawl and index the content
  • Set up Google Analytics and Webmaster tools to track and report performance of work being implemented on client sites
  • Collaborate on Logical Position’s projects and app repositories using Git and GitHub; ensure all changes to internal projects are made on the same version and kept in one location for maximum efficiency and to advance internal projects focused on departmental growth
  • Edit client servers to ensure client websites are fully functioning and made easily accessible to search engines
  • Assist with implement checks on websites to discover and report on potential issues before work begins
  • Apply critical thinking, problem solving, and experience to find the most effective and efficient solution to make changes to a client’s file or template files
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment when developing and implementing SEO changes and updates on client websites and ensuring all aspects of the website are functioning properly
  • Collaborate and find solutions to problems the SEO team comes across while working on client websites to enhance departmental knowledge
  • Remain current with industry trends while continually leveraging new tools and industry best practices to improve Logical Position’s product offerings

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent/relevant experience
  • 1+ years’ experience in a related field
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience optimizing websites, working on multiple CMS’s, and working on website updates and implementation on multiple platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies and best practices
  • Reliable work ethic, highly organized with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
