What You’ll Do

Responsible for directing the resources on complex IT projects to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. May coach other project managers with less experience.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Obtains buy-in from the executive project sponsors of the mission, vision, strategy and approach.
  • Works with business partners to ensure all proper requirements and supporting development deliverables are accounted for and well documented.
  • Initiates, compiles, audits and assembles all project resources and reporting materials for key stakeholders based on agreed upon reporting lines and methods.
  • Evaluates project risk, changes and issues, including development of contingency plans and solution and process alternatives.
  • Ensures that resources assigned to the project have all the tools and information needed to perform their project tasks.
  • Ensures that the project complies with IT Project Life Cycle methodology.
  • Plays a lead role in managing and coordinating major systems and business projects and provides tactical and strategic input to the project.
  • Monitors issues between projects and resolves project conflict.
  • Participates in contract negotiations with clients, contractors and vendors.
  • Performs project audit for projects.
  • Other duties as required.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent, with 4-7 years of experience.
  • Project management certification or equivalent work experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of encryption, certificates, key management, etc.
  • Experience with Venafi, Cyberark, Fortanix, or Hashi Vault a plus
