Position: TRAINING MANAGER

Navaide is seeking a Training Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of end-user training for a Department of Defense contract. The candidate will manage the training workstream from strategy through execution, overseeing training specialists, coordinating with functional SMEs, and ensuring Navy command end-users are prepared for system go-live and sustainment operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Develop and execute the program training strategy, training plan, and training schedule in alignment with program milestones

Manage training workstream resources including training specialists, instructional designers, and curriculum developers

Oversee the development of training materials including course manuals, desk guides, quick reference guides (QRGs), and SOPs

Coordinate with functional SMEs across all workstreams to ensure training content accurately reflects system configuration and business processes

Plan and manage instructor-led training (ILT), virtual training, and computer-based training (CBT) delivery activities

Develop and track training completion metrics and readiness assessments for each command go-live

Maintain the training environment and ensure training data is current and representative of production scenarios

Required Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of SAP or ERP training experience with at least 3 years in a training lead or manager role

Experience developing and managing end-user training programs for large-scale DoD or federal ERP implementations

Proficiency with training development tools such as uPerform, Enable Now, RWD InfoPak, or equivalent

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training workstreams simultaneously

Eligibility for and willingness to obtain security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Navy ERP end-user training development and delivery experience

Experience managing training for S/4HANA or One-ERP transition programs

Instructional design credentials (ATD, CPTD, or equivalent)

Experience with SCORM-compliant CBT development

Certifications

ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) preferred

PMP a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, related field, or comparable work experience
