Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design track and railway infrastructure in accordance with applicable regulations, laws and standards
- Participate in the design and construction of projects
- Lead and assist with the preparation of proposals, design packages, and tender documentation
- Utilize rail experience to mentor junior and engineers on rail design
- Work collaboratively with project managers and multi-disciplinary design and engineering teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Civil or Rail Engineering from an accredited University
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in one or more US states, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- 5+ years of experience on civil earthworks projects
- 5+ years of experience in design of track and railway infrastructure
- Experience in the design of crossings
- Working knowledge of AREMA Standards
- Familiar with industrial track standards
- Ability to utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiently would be considered an asset
