Key Responsibilities

The Mental Health Clinician will engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough screenings and evaluations to formulate accurate diagnoses, ensuring that each client's needs are correctly identified and addressed.
• Developing and documenting comprehensive clinical formulations and individualized crisis and treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring measurable goals and outcomes.
• Implementing ethical and evidence-based practice models to provide care that is not only effective but also aligned with organizational standards.
• Triaging clinical emergencies and utilizing program-specific safety protocols to manage crises effectively and sensibly.
• Collaborating with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, communicating effectively to foster a positive therapeutic environment.
• Documenting all client interactions in line with agency policies and complying with contractor requirements to maintain high standards of record-keeping.
• Continuously enhancing professional knowledge by engaging with the diverse histories, cultures, and artistic expressions of the individuals served.
• Meeting direct service productivity goals as defined by the program, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves low-acuity adults facing a range of mental health challenges. The clinician will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, focusing on improving their mental health and overall well-being. Our commitment to culturally competent care ensures that all clients receive respectful and tailored assistance, recognizing their individual circumstances and histories.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• Strong knowledge of psychopathology and psychotherapeutic intervention modalities, with a focus on addressing a range of behavioral health concerns.
• Proficient in crisis management and the referral process for connecting clients with necessary resources.

Preferred Experience

While all candidates meeting the qualifications are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to applicants with:

• Previous experience in a community health setting or similar clinical environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year. In addition to the salary, we offer:
