Overview:

Sentara Health Plans is looking to hire a Remote Sales & Client Specialist- Large Group. This is an administrative role in support of the Northern Virginia Sales Executive for Large Group.

This is a remote position however candidates must reside in Northen Virginia, and/or Southern Maryland area.

Travel may be required on a quarterly basis throughout the commonwealth of Virginia.

Support (Sr.) Sales Executive and/or (Sr.) (Regional) Client Executive in producing and retaining profitable business in the Large Group segment. Interact with consultants, brokers, and benefit administrators and Optima Health business units to achieve these objectives. Conduct group educational meetings with members and prospective members as requested.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • or HS grad and 4 years related experience. Related years of experience includes Business Acumen, Customer Relation, Employee Benefits, Health Insurance Industry or related field.

Certification:

  • Valid Virginia Driver's license (required)
  • Must obtain an L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 90 days of hire.

Experience:

  • 4 years Related years of experience includes Business Acumen, Customer Relation, Employee Benefits, Health Insurance Industry or related field.
