Job Title: Cloud Automation Engineer
Location: Remote
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automating the lifecycle of virtual machines and IaaS platforms, with proficiency in Nutanix toolset, Ansible, Terraform, Python, and PowerShell. This role involves automating builds, services, day-two operations, and decommissioning processes.
Responsibilities:
• Automate the lifecycle of virtual machines, including builds, patching, monitoring, backups, and decommissioning.
• Develop and implement automation scripts and policies for IaaS platforms.
• Interface with CMDB, SolarWinds, and other components used to run the IaaS platform.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and automation of services.
• Port existing automation from VRA to Nutanix Calm/Service.
Skills Required:
• Experience with Nutanix Calm/Service.
• Proficiency in Nutanix toolset, Ansible, Terraform, Python, and PowerShell.
• Strong automation skills for IaaS platforms.
• Experience with virtual machine lifecycle management.
• Ability to interface with various monitoring and management tools.
