POSITION OVERVIEW 

This client-facing role will be an integral part of the Services team. As a Quickbase Solution Consultant / Developer, you will work on client initiatives varying in size and scope up to the enterprise level. You will design and build solutions using low code platforms such as Quickbase, Workato, and Pipefy. As a member of our collaborative team, you will help define and implement client needs and expectations. 

There are multiple levels of opportunities, including mid-level through senior-level, as a solution consultant for this role. Candidates will be assessed by our team to evaluate the Quickbase development skill level, as well as the level of consultancy skills each individual candidate displays. Your level will be determined based on our team’s assessment during the interview process.

WILL REPORT TO 

Technical Account Manager 

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE 

  • Understand and adapt to multiple approaches of delivering technology to clients (e.g. agile versus waterfall) 

  • Comprehend complex business processes 

  • Build detailed process maps in real-time during client project interactions 

  • Initiate and participate in direct and indirect client communication, including but not limited to, virtual meetings,      emails, any face-to-face interaction that may arise 

  • In the context of client projects to which you would be assigned: 

  • Create documentation and training materials 

  • Support client testing efforts 

  • Mentor and tutor client’s team members as appropriate 

  • Work with key stakeholders to gather requirements, transform them into epics, stories, tasks, and other relevant documentation as needed 

  • Escalate issues in an appropriate manner, to the appropriate resource 

  • Follow a project’s Statement of Work, decompose work into tasks, manage level of effort and due dates 

  • Lead difficult conversations, guide client direction, address push back, and steer engagement as needed 

  • Ensure all internal management systems are kept up to date relative to the projects assigned, including systems that handle timesheets, status, forecasting, and invoicing 

  • Assist with internal company initiatives, including but not limited to, sales engineering, scoping, demos, internal development priorities, and research 

  • Work with Technical Account Manager and Customer Success Managers on expansion and additional revenue for their book of clients

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE 

  • 1+ year(s) experience with the Quickbase platform required 

  • 1+ year(s) experience as a Quickbase application or realm administrator 

  • Quickbase, Workato, and Pipefy certifications are required to be obtained within 1-3 months of employment; level of certification and allotted time to complete are subject to seniority level 

  • At time of hire, one or more current certification is required: 

  • Quickbase certifications 

  • App Builder 

  • Expert Builder 

  • Pipelines Builder 

  • Pipefy certification 

  • Process Management  

  • Workato certifications  

  • Pro 1 

  • Pro 2  

  • Pro 3 

  • Familiarity with Database architecture design / Relational Database Design 

  • Successful utilization of Webhooks and APIs 

  • Familiarity with 1 or more programming languages (JS, Ruby, Python, etc. 

  • Familiarity with system governance 

  • Strong Data Analysis, Modeling experience 

  • Experience working with Cloud-Based business solutions 

  • Advanced Excel skills
