Our client seeks a Software Engineer - Specialist to design, develop, and implement software solutions that support business processes and improve the guest experience. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, develop applications across web and mobile, and deliver effective outcomes. The position includes participation across the software development lifecycle, a focus on accessibility and quality, and contributions to documentation and basic DevOps practices.

Responsibilities: - Participate in the full software development lifecycle including planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Participate in code reviews to improve practices and quality.
- Collaborate to design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications.
- Partner with design and QA to implement accessibility best practices including screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and high-contrast interfaces.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including user manuals and technical guides.
- Support basic DevOps tasks such as deployment pipelines, environment configuration, and application monitoring.
- Pursue ongoing professional development through training, reading, conferences, and professional organizations.
Experience Requirements: - 2-4 years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in one or more: C#, React, Node.js, SQL, Python.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies including unit, integration, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality software delivery.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of software design principles and architectural patterns.
- Preferred: React Native and mobile development for iOS and Android.
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
- Preferred: Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Preferred: Experience using APIs from leading LLM providers and integrating LLMs into applications.
- Preferred: Proficiency in implementing accessible user interfaces with semantic HTML.
Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
