What is a remote SLP contract?

A remote SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) contract is an agreement where a licensed SLP provides speech therapy services to clients or students virtually, rather than in person. These contracts are typically offered by schools, healthcare facilities, or teletherapy companies and can be full-time, part-time, or per session. Remote SLPs use video conferencing and online tools to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, or communication disorders. This arrangement offers flexibility and the ability to work from home while serving diverse populations.

Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) contractors often encounter challenges such as limited face-to-face interaction with clients, managing technology issues, and maintaining engagement during virtual sessions.
