DESCRIPTION

As an Account Manager II at Sinch, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client relationships while driving revenue through new business acquisition, proactive outbound prospecting, and pipeline development. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will build relationships with key decision-makers, identify business opportunities, and deliver consultative solutions that demonstrate the value of Sinch\'s voice and messaging products and services.

Your role will involve developing and managing opportunities throughout the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through solution presentations and closing—while executing strategic account plans to expand existing business and acquire new customers. You\'ll collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, customer success, legal, and technical teams to deliver a seamless customer experience, resolve client needs, and ensure successful business outcomes.

This position is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional with strong communication, consultative selling, and problem-solving skills who is passionate about helping customers succeed while contributing directly to Sinch\'s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for Sinch’s voice and messaging services.

  • Prospecting and Qualification: Identify and qualify new business opportunities, converting leads from industry events, partner relationships, and marketing campaigns into a strong pipeline.

  • Relationship Management: Build and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within new and existing client accounts.

  • Solution Selling: Use a consultative approach to understand customer challenges and effectively articulate how Sinch’s product suite can add value to their business.

  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process for assigned opportunities, from initial contact and qualification to delivering presentations and closing deals.

  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong working knowledge of Sinch’s full portfolio of services with a focus on voice (e.g., voice termination, 8XX, origination, TFN, E911) and messaging (e.g., A2P, 10DLC, SMS/MMS) services to effectively communicate our value proposition.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, customer success, and legal, to ensure client success and support team goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 3 years of sales experience, with a background as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for 2 years before transitioning into an Account Manager or a similar closing role.

  • Industry Expertise: Familiarity with the telecommunications landscape, with exposure to wholesale voice services (e.g., VoIP, SIP Trunking) and messaging services (e.g., A2P, SMS/MMS) being a strong plus.

  • Proven Success: A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a quota-carrying role.

  • Sales Methodology: Familiarity with a structured sales methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale) to guide the sales process.

  • Professional Presence: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with key decision-makers.

  • Mindset: A motivated and organized individual with the ability to manage priorities, forecast accurately, and build lasting client relationships.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

This role is primarily remote, but candidates must reside near one of our hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO; Seattle, WA
