Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who will manage computer systems, organize and evaluate IT Systems, as well as ensure security of data following a number of frameworks. This position will provide the business knowledge and technical skills to implement technical strategies, evaluate products and provide a superior level of technical support that benefits the company. To be successful you will have architect level understanding of network, hardware, software and back-up systems.
Location: This position is primarily remote but to be considered for the role you must reside in UT within a 45-minute drive from Bluffdale. This position will need to commute to our Bluffdale center 1-2 times per month.
Responsibilities:
  • Architect, Develop, and Implement IT systems, either on-prem or cloud-based systems.
  • Coordinate and communicate with business leaders regarding the IT systems planned or implemented.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure, and have complete understanding of the dependencies of different components and systems.
  • Ensure system security following the frameworks established by the management of the IT team.
  • Ensure system continuity following the standards set by the management of the IT team.
  • Ability to Script complex tasks.
  • Reporting on key metrics when needed to fulfill business obligations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in technology-related field and 5 or more years of applicable experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced/Architect level computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to communicate in a team environment.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Have available transportation to and from our Bluffdale location.
