Job Description and Requirements
We Are
Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.
You Are
You have made a career out of being the person executives call when the stakes are high and the answers are not obvious. You are comfortable quarterbacking complex projects that cut across sales, operations, and finance, translating a vision into a set of priorities and then making them happen. You know how to take a tangle of competing goals, clarify what matters most, and align teams that do not always agree. When a VP asks for a briefing, you do not just pull numbers-you connect the dots, frame the tradeoffs, and make sure the story is clear. You are used to handling sensitive information without missing a beat, and you do not get rattled by shifting priorities or incomplete data. You find satisfaction in making leaders more effective, not by sitting on the sidelines, but by anticipating what is needed before it lands. Whether it is a strategic offsite, a high-stakes presentation, or a thorny cross-functional project, you have been there, and you are ready to do it again at scale.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Partnering directly with the Regional Vice President to define, prioritize, and track the progress of strategic initiatives across the Americas region
  • Streamlining business processes, identifying operational roadblocks, and driving continuous improvements that actually stick
  • Gathering and synthesizing data using Excel, BI tools, and other platforms to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making
  • Crafting high-impact executive presentations, strategic communications, and succinct reports that make leadership look sharp and well-prepared
  • Acting as the connective tissue between sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure everyone is rowing in the same direction
  • Orchestrating executive meetings, offsites, and strategic sessions-from agenda design to follow-up-so time is never wasted
  • Leading or executing special projects with a clear business outcome, whether it is launching a new enablement program or quarterbacking a region-wide initiative
The Impact You Will Have
  • Turning strategic intent into operational reality, making sure priorities actually move forward instead of getting stuck in committee
  • Improving how teams work together by removing friction, clarifying ownership, and breaking down silos across departments
  • Giving leaders the clarity and confidence they need to make big decisions by delivering insights that are both data-driven and business-savvy
  • Elevating the quality and consistency of executive communication, so everyone from VPs to frontline teams knows what matters and why
  • Accelerating the adoption of sales enablement programs and strategic initiatives that improve business performance
  • Creating a measurable lift in leadership effectiveness by anticipating needs and keeping focus on the highest-value work
  • Helping Synopsys respond faster and smarter to new opportunities and challenges by driving cross-functional execution
What You'll Need
  • 7-10+ years in strategy, business operations, consulting, finance, sales operations, or executive leadership support roles
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic projects from start to finish, with clear business impact
  • Proven track record collaborating across functions-Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product-at the director or executive level
  • Advanced analytical chops, including data synthesis and insight generation using Excel and, ideally, BI platforms
  • Strong executive communication skills-both written and verbal-with a portfolio of presentations, reports, and briefings you have built yourself
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
  • MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus, but not required
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, technology, or industrial/manufacturing sectors is a plus
  • Comfort handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Who You Are
  • You can walk into a meeting with executives, listen for what is not being said, and leave with a plan everyone can rally around
  • You know how to get things done in organizations where priorities shift and alignment is not a given
  • You turn complex, messy data into clear, actionable recommendations-never just slides full of numbers
  • You ask tough questions, challenge assumptions, and push for clarity when others settle for ambiguity
  • You balance strategic thinking with a bias for action; you do not just advise, you execute
  • You are trusted to keep sensitive information locked down and handle confidential topics with maturity
