Job description
This position is remote eligible but you MUST be located in our business footprint, which includes the following states: TN, KY, AL, GA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all closing department staff which includes Closers, Funders and ICD Specialists.
- Interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure a successful close.
- Elevate service levels for customers by overseeing all mortgage loan closings.
- Participate in the Regional Operations Center(ROC) Leadership Team. Promote the goals, standards and vision of the ROC within your team.
- Manage the ROC closing pipeline. Proactively communicate to ensure all teams are informed and prepared for a successful closing.
- Ensure future salability and quality control of residential mortgage loans and refinances by adhering to all lender underwriting guidelines and federal and state regulations
- Examine and implement closing processes as required to maintain accurate loan files, settlement statements, and closing documents

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required - Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years experience in mortgage closing
- Management experience in operations is needed
- Understanding of lending industry trends and various mortgage products such as FHA, USDA, Conventional, etc. is needed
- Exceptional communication, supervision, math, customer service, and organization skills are required
