Starting Point Behavioral Counseling Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our clinic, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, social, and financial challenges.
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on areas such as grief, coping strategies, and adjustment to change.
• Collaborating with medical teams to develop integrated care plans that address both physical and mental health needs.
• Coordinating with community organizations to facilitate post-discharge services, ensuring patients have continued access to essential resources.
• Offering emotional support to patients and their families, helping them navigate treatment options and healthcare systems.
• Documenting all interactions and interventions in accordance with legal and organizational policies to maintain compliance and data integrity.
• Participating in the development and implementation of hospital quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing acute distress.

You will work with a varied patient population, including individuals grappling with mental health challenges, chronic illnesses, and psychosocial stressors. Our clinic provides care to diverse demographics, including families, youth, and adults, fostering a comprehensive and inclusive approach to mental health.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proficiency in applying theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios within a clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage empathetically with patients and collaborate effectively with medical teams.

Although not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred and would enhance a candidate’s application:

• At least two years of clinical practice experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• A solid understanding of medical terminology and mental health disorders, particularly crises intervention techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Experience with integrated care models and familiarity with telehealth systems.
