Job description

The Procurement Account Executive owns the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for secondary market IT assets, from sourcing and quoting to purchase, logistics coordination, and final reconciliation. This role requires a hunter mindset, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to manage transactional complexity through ERP systems while protecting margin and ensuring execution accuracy. We will consider remote and or hybrid candidates based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development amp; Account Management
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new supply opportunities (B2B, enterprise, SMB, brokers, and channel partners)
  • Build long-term relationships with clients generating recurring device supply
  • Manage inbound opportunities and convert leads into closed transactions
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned to company growth targets

Procurement amp; Deal Execution:
  • Own the full procurement lifecycle
  • Generating new procurement opportunities from ITAD and Recycling companies
  • Converting inbound leads and proactively identifying outbound opportunities
  • Partnering with procurement and operations teams to forecast and deliver on inventory volume goals, development based on device type, grade, and estimated recovery value
  • Negotiation of pricing, terms, and volume agreement
  • Purchase order creation and submission
  • Coordination of logistics (shipping, pickup scheduling)
  • Receipt confirmation and reconciliation
  • Invoice tracking and payment follow-up
  • Partner with operations and receiving teams to ensure accurate grading and intake
  • Margin amp; Performance Accountability:
  • Drive acquisition margin performance (Purchase Price vs. Estimated Recovery Value)
  • Evaluate deals with a profitability mindset — not just volume
  • Adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions and resale channel date
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly unit and margin KPIs

Systems amp; Process Execution:
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in ERP/CRM system
  • Track deal status from initial contact through completion
  • Ensure documentation accuracy (POs, invoices, shipping records, RMA where applicable)
  • Support process improvements and standardization across procurement workflows

Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with:
  • Revenue amp; Channels team on resale pricing trend
  • Operations/Receiving on device grading accuracy
  • Finance on invoicing and payment cycles
  • Provide market feedback to leadership on supply trends and pricing shifts

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, procurement, account management, or IT asset disposition (ITAD)
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales or procurement KPIs
  • Strong negotiation and closing skill
  • Experience managing transactional workflows and high-volume deal flow
  • Comfortable working in ERP/CRM systems (Hubspot, or similar)
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in ITAD, electronics recycling, or secondary device market
  • Understanding of device grading, resale markets, and recovery value
  • Existing network of corporate IT buyers/sellers, brokers, or asset manager
  • Experience managing logistics coordination (freight, bulk shipments, pickups)
