Search & Comparison IntentUnderstanding reverse logistics processes and rolesManaging overall logistics operations

Remote Reverse Logistics focuses on managing product returns, refurbishments, and recycling processes, often requiring specialized knowledge in reverse supply chain management. Remote Logistics Coordinators oversee the movement of goods, shipments, and supply chain activities. While both roles involve logistics skills, reverse logistics emphasizes returns and recycling, whereas logistics coordinators handle broader transportation and distribution tasks.

Will SCM be replaced by AI?

Supply Chain Management (SCM) roles, including those in reverse logistics, are increasingly incorporating AI to improve efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making. However, AI is expected to augment rather than fully replace human roles, requiring skills in technology, data interpretation, and process management. Professionals in SCM should focus on developing expertise in AI tools and analytics to stay relevant in evolving logistics environments.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Remote reverse logistics roles typically do not pay $4,000 a week without specialized experience or certifications. High-paying logistics or supply chain management jobs may reach that level with extensive experience, but most entry-level or non-degree roles pay less. Profitable positions often require skills in inventory management, software tools, or industry knowledge.

What is a Remote Reverse Logistics job?

A Remote Reverse Logistics job involves managing the process of returning goods from customers back to the company, handling product recalls, recycling, repairs, or proper disposal. Professionals in this field coordinate logistics, track returned items, process refunds or replacements, and ensure compliance with company policies—all while working from a remote location. This role often requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of supply chain processes, and effective communication with customers and internal teams.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Remote reverse logistics roles can offer high earning potential through managing product returns, inventory, and shipping processes for e-commerce companies. To reach $2000 weekly, professionals often need experience, strong organizational skills, and may work on a commission or performance-based pay structure, sometimes combining multiple part-time or freelance tasks. Building expertise in supply chain management tools and certifications can also enhance earning opportunities.

Can I work in logistics remotely?

Remote reverse logistics roles are available, especially in positions focused on coordination, customer service, or data analysis. These jobs often require strong communication skills and familiarity with logistics software, and they may involve flexible schedules or virtual collaboration tools.

What are some common challenges faced in a remote reverse logistics role, and how can they be effectively managed?

In a remote reverse logistics role, professionals often encounter challenges such as coordinating returns across various locations, managing communication with multiple stakeholders, and tracking returned goods accurately without physical oversight. Effective use of logistics management software, clear communication protocols, and strong organizational skills are essential for overcoming these obstacles. Building strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and internal teams also helps streamline the process and resolve issues more efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Reverse Logistics Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Reverse Logistics Specialist, you need a solid understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and returns processing, often supported by relevant logistics or business qualifications. Job description

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to define, build, and scale the technology ecosystem powering Samsara\'s end-to-end supply chain operations. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, product management, enterprise architecture, and emerging technology — translating complex supply chain challenges into scalable digital solutions including enterprise platforms, integrations, automation, AI-powered workflows, and intelligent decision-support capabilities.

You will own the product vision, strategy, architecture, and roadmap across planning, procurement, supplier collaboration, fulfillment, order management, logistics, and reverse logistics — driving build-vs-buy decisions and delivering measurable business outcomes through technology transformation. You will partner closely with Supply Chain Operations, Business Technology, Engineering, Data, Finance, and external technology partners to modernize Samsara\'s supply chain capabilities and enable scalable global operations.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

You should apply if:

Product Strategy, Vision

  • Drive the multi-year product vision, strategy, target-state architecture, roadmap, and investment priorities for Supply Chain technology capabilities
  • Lead product strategy across a portfolio of enterprise supply chain systems, balancing business outcomes, customer needs, technical feasibility, scalability, and long-term value
  • Identify systemic operational friction and translate business challenges into scalable product, platform, automation, and AI solutions
  • Define success metrics, value realization frameworks, and measurable outcomes across adoption, efficiency, cost savings, and operational performance
  • Influence senior leaders by connecting business strategy, technology capabilities, and transformation opportunities.

Supply Chain Systems & Process Transformation

  • Own a functional portfolio spanning planning, procurement, order management, fulfillment, and reverse logistics
  • Analyze current-state processes, identify root causes, and design future-state operating models and workflows
  • Translate complex supply chain processes into scalable product capabilities, user journeys, system requirements, and integration patterns
  • Drive modernization from fragmented tools and manual processes toward connected, intelligent supply chain platforms
  • Ensure core platforms (ERP, planning, and analytics systems) work together to support reliable, efficient end-to-end operations
  • Partner with business teams to redesign processes where technology, automation, and AI can unlock significant operational leverage

Enterprise Architecture & Technology Strategy

  • Define end-to-end application, integration, data, and platform architecture across ERP, planning, analytics, and AI ecosystems
  • Establish scalable architecture patterns enabling reliability, extensibility, governance, and long-term maintainability
  • Lead technology evaluations, vendor assessments, and build-vs-buy decisions
  • Drive simplification of application landscapes, reduction of technical complexity, and creation of reusable capabilities
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for strategic advantage

AI, Automation & Digital Transformation

  • Identify high-value AI and automation opportunities across supply chain operations to improve productivity, decision-making, and operational agility
  • Define and execute AI-enabled product strategies leveraging LLMs, AI agents, agentic workflows, MCPs, predictive analytics, and optimization models
  • Design and scale AI-powered solutions that integrate enterprise data, business workflows, and operational systems to reduce manual effort and accelerate decisions
  • Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Architecture to take AI initiatives from experimentation through production deployment and measurable business impact
  • Establish responsible AI practices covering governance, security, data quality, transparency, and continuous improvement

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through deployment and continuous improvement
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization, and partner with engineering to deliver
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, well-documented, and aligned with governance and compliance standards

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Build alignment across senior leaders and cross-functional teams:  Supply Chain, Business Technology, Engineering, Data, Finance, Procurement, and Operations
  • Navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems where there is no predefined solution
  • Mentor product managers and technology partners to raise product maturity and execution standards
  • Establish best practices around discovery, prioritization, product thinking, and outcome measurement

Business Impact & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, cycle time, automation rate, and cost savings
  •  Monitor system performance and business impact post-deployment
  •  Continuously refine systems and features based on data insights and stakeholder feedback
  • Champion and embed Samsara\'s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as the company scales globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes: Design-to-Release, Forecast-to-Plan/Build, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Returns/Reverse Logistics
  • Hands-on experience delivering enterprise systems, integrations, and process automation, including AI/ML or advanced analytics in operational contexts
