We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to join our growing team. This role provides administrative and logistical support to the construction team by coordinating schedules, communicating with customers and insurance adjusters, maintaining project documentation, and assisting with material procurement. This position plays a vital role in keeping projects organized, customers informed, and construction operations running smoothly from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.
  • Serve as a point of communication with homeowners and insurance adjusters throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct regular customer touch-base calls to provide updates, answer questions, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Prepare and maintain project spreadsheets, selection sheets, and other construction documents.
  • Send project documentation, contracts, estimates, and other paperwork to customers and insurance adjusters.
  • Order materials and shop for products needed for construction projects while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Track material orders and communicate any delays or issues to the project team.
  • Maintain organized electronic job files and project documentation.
  • Assist the construction department with additional administrative and coordination responsibilities based on workload and business needs.


Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a construction office, construction administration, or project coordination role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, adjusters, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote/work from home setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting the construction team.


Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

  • Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable laws
  • Previous experience with Dash and Xactimate a plus
