We are hiring for an EHR Tech Intgrat I Engineer.   This is a remote position.  We are looking for HL7 experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Designs, and coordinates implementation, analysis, testing and debugging of integration, workflows, and configurations within Epic & other Clinical applications. Works with Epic applications and toolsets including but not limited to Hyperdrive, Kuiper, Satellite, SystemPulse, and numerous other Epic applications. Applies understanding of the technical components of the application software to maintain system integrity. Provides technical consulting on complex projects. Frequently serves as liaison between end-users, leadership, IT, and management and vendor technical contacts. Epic or applicable certifications will be required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Configures the hardware and software environment as required by the system being integrated. Produces integration test specifications, conducts tests and records and reports on outcomes.
  • Assists in designing, verifying, documenting, amending and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment. Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.
  • Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes. Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing. Automates testing tasks and builds test coverage through existing or new infrastructure.
  • Installs and tests new versions of system software. Contributes to preparation of software implementation procedures with fall back contingency plans.
  • Investigates problems in systems, processes and services. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
  • May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
