Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Recruiting Specialist to source, lead recruiting efforts, and hire talent for the Prairie Band, LLC enterprise. The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership, division leaders, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure all staffing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, with a strong emphasis on construction.
  • Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, agencies, and referrals.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the position and company culture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from posting job openings to extending job offers and preparing the offer documents.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future staffing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, Prairie Band Employment Code, and various regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
  • Serve as the enterprise's subject matter expert for emerging technologies to continue enhancing recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Schedule and lead monthly collaboration meetings with all staffing and recruiting personnel.
  • Develop and maintain recruiting metrics and budget.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Construction, or a related field.
  • Must have 5-7+ years of experience in recruiting.
  • Minimum 3+ years recruiting for federal construction contracting positions or similar federal government project positions.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of government contracting regulations and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Expert understanding of best-in-class recruitment processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Must have a strong work ethic, be highly flexible, and have a sense of personal accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (Paylocity knowledge a plus).
  • Ability to travel infrequently.

Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B).
