We are seeking a Production Managerat Moore to lead the execution of direct mail fundraising campaigns for nonprofit organizations across the country. This roleis responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process, ensuring every campaign is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and performance. Your Impact:

  • Serve as the primary production lead for a portfolio of nonprofit fundraising clients, ensuring seamless execution of direct mail campaigns from estimate through mail drop and campaign closeout.
  • Develop, manage, and monitorannual production schedules, proactively coordinating milestones, dependencies, and deadlines to ensuretimely delivery.
  • Partner with Client Success, Creative, Data & Analytics, and external manufacturing partners to bring fundraising campaigns to life while balancing quality, timing, and cost objectives.
  • Provide strategic production recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness, operational efficiencies, and overall fundraising performance.
  • Identify production risks, challenges, and opportunities early, implementing creative solutions that keep projects moving forward.
  • Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and recommend vendor proposals, ensuring optimalpricing, quality, service, and production capacity.
  • Manage campaign budgets, estimates, reconciliations, and financial tracking while maintainingalignment with client expectations and profitability goals.
  • Oversee quality assurance reviews, including print proofs, personalization, insertion packages, color standards, and final production quantities.
  • Ensure compliance with postal regulations while identifyingopportunities toleverage postal optimization programs, incentives, and cost-saving strategie
  • Drive ongoing process improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, vendor performance, operational effectiveness, and campaign outcomes.
  • Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with printers, lettershops, paper suppliers, freight providers, and other key manufacturing partners.
  • Monitor industry trends including postal changes, print technologies, paper markets, supply chain impacts, and emerging production innovations.

Education & Experience:

  • 7+ years of direct mail production experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, including 10+ years of progressive direct mail production experience.
  • Experience supporting nonprofit fundraising programs and direct response marketing campaigns strongly preferred.

Your Profile:

  • Experience managing complex direct mail fundraising campaigns, preferably within the nonprofit fundraising industry.
  • Strong knowledge of print production, lettershop operations, postal regulations, personalization technologies, and direct mail manufacturing workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintainingaccuracy, quality, and exceptional client service.
  • Experience negotiating vendor pricing, evaluating production alternatives, and identifyingcost-saving opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of campaign budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated success building productive relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and client teams.
  • Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies in a deadline-driven production environment.
  • Familiarity with fundraising, donor acquisition, and direct response marketing strategies is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Workfront, NetSuite, or similar project management and business systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of digital printing, personalization technologies, postal optimization, and emerging fundraising production trends.
