Reports To: Digital Marketing Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Web & Email Specialist supports Precept's digital marketing and customer experience efforts through email implementation, website execution, troubleshooting, and third-party platform support. This role focuses on accurate and efficient execution of digital marketing initiatives using approved content, designs, and processes while supporting a positive customer experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Web Page Implementation

  1. Builds and updates web pages, landing pages, pop-ups, podcast pages, and other website elements using approved designs and content provided by team.
  2. Supports website updates, enhancements, and feature additions in partnership with the Technology team.
  3. Executes website tracking updates and implementation requests provided by the DMM.
  4. Tests website functionality, formatting, and responsiveness before launch.
  5. Provides metrics and reporting support as requested.

Email Implementation

  1. Manages and executes email sends and journeys inside the Klaviyo platform based on preloaded copy and designs from team.
  2. Builds and maintains audiences, customer journeys, automations, and segmentation based on DMM direction.
  3. Monitors email deliverability and communicate issues or recommendations to the DMM.
  4. Execute tracking and tagging practices using tools such as Klaviyo, UTM, GA4, and Google Tag Manager.
  5. Tests email functionality across major devices and platforms.
  6. Provides metrics and reporting support as requested.

Digital Troubleshooting

  1. Monitors, researches and troubleshoots email, website, and platform issues as needed.
  2. Identifies and reports rendering, tracking, deliverability, or functionality issues.
  3. Maintains high accuracy and attention to detail across all digital executions.

Third Party Digital Implementation

  1. Maintains and updates content across third-party digital platforms and systems.
  2. Supports implementation of approved customer journeys, forms, and content flows in external platforms.
  3. Works with Marketing and Technology teams to support platform integrations and updates.
  4. Applies approved content, layouts, and user flows within third-party systems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Experience with email marketing and automation platforms such as Klaviyo, or similar tools.
  2. Experience working with website platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, Salesforce, or related systems.
  3. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web/email formatting.
  4. Experience with Google Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and digital tracking practices.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
  7. Experience testing digital functionality across browsers, devices, and platforms.
  8. Works with high speed and high accuracy.
  9. Research issues and provide findings to DMM for final recommendations.
  10. Balances independent execution with collaboration within team and IT as needed.
  11. Maintains strong attention to detail and proactive communication.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. 2+ years of related digital marketing, website, or email implementation experience preferred.
