Location: Phoenix, AZ (100% Remote – Must Work Arizona Hours)
Duration: 4 Months (Possible Extension)
Work Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Arizona Time) | 40 Hours/Week
Work Location: 1700 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85007 (Remote)
Position Overview
The State of Arizona is seeking an experienced Mendix Low-Code/No-Code Application Developer to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of enterprise applications using the Mendix platform. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused applications in an Agile environment.
Required Skills
  •  Hands-on experience with Low-Code/No-Code (LC/NC) platforms (must be clearly listed on the resume
  •  Experience developing applications using Mendix or similar LC/NC platforms 
  •  Agile/Scrum software development experience 
  •  Application development, testing, and troubleshooting 
  •  Strong communication and documentation skills 
Preferred Skills

  • Mendix or OutSystems
  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • SQL Database / SQL Server

Key Responsibilities

  •  Develop and maintain applications using the Mendix Low-Code platform
  •  Assist with requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, and deployment 
  •  Configure microflows, nanoflows, domain models, UI pages, and integrations
  •  Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and Product Owners 
  •  Prepare and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  •  Perform data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshoot application issues 
  •  Create and maintain technical and project documentation 
  •  Support production readiness, defect resolution, and post-deployment activities
