Mendix Low-Code Developer / Tester | Remote | $50 to $58/hr W2 | Arizona State Agency
Location: 100% Remote (work Arizona hours)
Pay Rate: $58/hr W2 (1099 option available at $60/hr)
Job Type: Contract (~3-4 months, possible extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Arizona business hours
Deadline: June 18, 2026

About the Role
SunSoft Online is seeking a Low-Code/No-Code Application Developer/Tester (Mendix) for a 100% remote contract with an Arizona state agency. You will support a highly visible, time-critical application development effort using the Mendix platform to deliver secure, scalable, user-centered solutions.

What You Will Do
- Assist Business Analysts with requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, and implementation on the Mendix low-code platform
- Configure and develop Mendix applications: microflows and nanoflows, domain models, UI components and pages, integrations and data sources
- Analyze and chart current-state business processes; document future-state processes, business rules, process flow diagrams, and workflows
- Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and coordinate UAT with stakeholders
- Perform data validation and quality assurance within Mendix applications
- Support pre-go-live testing and troubleshoot application issues and defects
- Participate in Agile/Scrum status calls; maintain project documentation

Required
- Hands-on experience with Low-Code/No-Code (LC/NC) platforms (must be shown on resume)

Preferred
- Mendix or OutSystems low-code platform experience
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- SQL Server querying, reporting, diagnostics
- Agile/Scrum development experience; JIRA familiarity
- PCI compliance understanding
- Automated testing tools and methodologies
