This position will be fully remote and can be hired anywhere in the continental U.S.

The Sr. Channel Partner Manager - SLEDdrives public sector revenue growth by establishing and expanding partnerships with strategic partners, and distributors. The role serves as the primary liaison between Optiv's partners and focuses on deal registration, partner enablement, and pipeline growth across government and education markets.

The Sr. Channel Partner Manager - SLED is a key role within the SLED team responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with the SLED segments of our key partners. Reporting to the Sr Director of SLED Strategy, the Sr. Channel Partner Manager - SLED is responsible for driving opportunities and field to field engagement with key partners.

How you'll make an impact

  • Oversee and coordinate Optiv's relationship with SLED segments of key partners

  • Drive co-branded marketing campaigns, driving recognition as a key partner in market for our OEMs

  • Enable sellers to create pipeline and revenue through identified micro-campaigns and OEM-led initiatives

  • Participate in SLED-focused conferences and events to foster trust and field to field partnerships

  • Prepare and present required data for Executive Business Reviews for Optiv Leadership as well as regular cadence meetings with assigned partners

  • Work with partner to identify new areas of opportunity for Optiv growth and mutual success and develop business plans that include:

    • Strategy to initiate and build growth and awareness within Optiv Sales

    • Identifying opportunities to develop service offerings using partner technology

    • Programs to drive demand in conjunction with the Optiv Marketing teams

  • Ensure pipeline and revenue are tied to expenditures

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Strong understanding of information security industry required, to include knowledge of leading industry vendors and products

  • Ability to work independently and exhibit strong time management skills

  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, including the ability to listen and communicate effectively with all partners

  • Self-starter with the ability to work in conjunction with multiple Vendor Partner Managers/Vendor Channel Managers and Optiv account executives

  • Overall attention to accuracy and detail with regards to rebate negotiations and reports to executive management, documentation of events and meetings, spiffs, partner negotiations, and all written and verbal communication

  • Ability to travel up to 40%
