Position Summary
We are looking for an awesome Virtual Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging learning experience for students in elementary school. This opportunity presents the right candidate a unique role focused on helping the community and working with students, as well as a rich experience developing professional skills.
All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency (don't worry, it's not that hard) and pass a background check. Following hiring, the new team member is given the opportunity to complete training in the Mathnasium Method™. This is a part-time role with set hours in a virtual platform. Seeking people to fill SPECIFIC HOURS 3:15-4:45pm Mondays and Thursdays, Additional hours available M-Th 5-7pm and Sat 10am-12pm.
Top notch high school students, college students, teachers, and retirees are encouraged to apply!
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional instruction/ tutoring services to students
  • Teach virtually using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
  • Evaluate, grade, and correct student work
  • Support kids to grow in skills and confidence, in every tutoring session

This is a remote position.
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
