As a Marketplace Specialist, you'll ensure every auction listing is accurate, rich in content and visually compelling. You'll communicate directly with sellers over email and phone to gather vehicle information, build auction listings, and curate high-quality photo galleries that showcase each car in its best light. This position is great for a motivated self-starter who needs little guidance to bring 4+ listings to market each day. Strong writing and research skills are critical as you will prepare the descriptions for our auctions.

What you'll do

  • Writing unique auction descriptions that accurately describe our listings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers throughout the listing process.
  • Collect and verify detailed information about vehicles, including specifications, service history, and ownership background.
  • Create well-organized, engaging, and informative auction listings.
  • Coordinate and organize vehicle photo submissions; ensure photo sets are complete, high-quality, and follow brand guidelines.
  • Proven ability to relay the importance of professional photography to sellers to bring the best listings to market.
  • Assist sellers with guidance on how to photograph and present their vehicles effectively.
  • Provide sellers with critical feedback about how they can improve their listing.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure listings are launched on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and track progress of each listing through internal systems.
  • This role is responsible for hitting day-to-day business goals that contribute to our company targets.
  • Coordination with sellers you are working with as well as the creation of listings.

  • This position is open to U.S. remote work. However, team members who reside within 20 miles of the Traverse City headquarters will follow a hybrid schedule, working from the office three days per week.
  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable.
