The Role

Owns the design, governance, and scalability of the AEM Sites platform. Defines how components, templates, content fragments, and authoring patterns are structured across properties. Serves as the expert for AEM content architecture and the key translator of business/UX needs into platform capabilities. 

The Main Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the AEM content architecture, including component libraries, content fragment models, taxonomy structures, and authoring standards to support effective content organization, discovery, and reuse.  
  • Own the AEM roadmap and backlog, ensuring enhancements align with business priorities and digital experience goals.  
  • Partner with business stakeholders in defining future-state workflows that optimize value across the Adobe stack of technologies  
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal platforms and processes by providing feedback on toolsets, AEM Sites UI, best practices, and workflow optimization. 
  • Collaborate with UX, design, and dev teams to ensure workable, scalable AEM solutions.
  • Provide direction to business analysts and development teams during feature definition, backlog refinement, and solution design to ensure scalable and maintainable AEM implementations.  
  • Evaluate new AEM features, tools, and frameworks for adoption.
  • Ensure content governance, reusability, localization, and scalability across properties.
  • Support integration planning where AEM intersects with Assets, Target, analytics, and data tools.
  • Ensure AEM supports modern digital delivery models, including headless architecture, Edge Delivery Services, and design system integration.  
What We Look For in a Candidate

Education: 
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or related field
Master's degree or MBA with a focus on technology, digital experience, or product management.

Experience:
Required: 5-8+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), with strong expertise in AEM content architecture and enterprise-scale implementations.
Hands-on Experience defining and managing product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and governance processes.  

Experience collaborating with design, content, and development teams in an enterprise environment.
Preferred: Experience with AEM integrations (Assets, Target, Analytics) and familiarity with the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
Background in agile product management and roadmap planning for digital platforms.
Adobe Certified Professional - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Business Practitioner, Product Owner certification (CSPO, SAFe POPM, etc.).  

Skills:
Strong AEM and Adobe ecosystem fluency, including AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Adobe Target, Analytics, or related MarTech tools. 
Strong understanding of content architecture, component libraries, content fragments, and authoring workflows within AEM. 
Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, UX/design, and IT stakeholders. 

Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
