Position Title: Customer Business Manager, Natural
Department: National Accounts
Location: Remote
Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes
Reports to: Head of Sales
Worker Category: Full-Time

Bonus Eligibility: Annual EBITDA Bonus Plan
Position Summary: This role will lead Natural Channel sales efforts for Brew Dr., calling on strategic accounts such as Whole Foods, with indirect responsibility for the UNFI relationship supporting the business. The Customer Business Manager, Natural's primary responsibility will be to increase Brew Dr.'s volume, revenue, and category share by planning, selling, and executing the sales and marketing programs for critical national and regional chain accounts to achieve company revenue, profit, and distribution objectives.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual business plan for all assigned natural and strategic regional accounts.
  • Work with broker and merchandising partners to sell new and expanded Brew Dr. Kombucha items to assigned accounts.
  • Develop and implement customer-specific marketing and promotional programs for assigned accounts.
  • Execute against national priorities and leverage national promotions into customized customer programs to deliver sales and distribution plans.
  • Act as the primary business contact and partner between Brew Dr. Kombucha and natural accounts and distributors that support the channel.
  • Provide account intelligence and recommendations for effective planning and programming.
  • Manage all budgetary needs for assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to grow volume and increase share with assigned accounts.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to deliver programs and business objectives.
  • Manage annual and quarterly demand forecast for assigned natural customers.
  • Manage annual trade budget for assigned natural customers
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the beverage or CPG industry, ideally with experience in the natural/organic/emerging brand space. With specific prior experience working with Whole Foods.
  • Previous experience managing natural and independent accounts as the primary sales contact. Prior experience with UNFI and/or KeHe is a plus.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales objectives
  • Strong working knowledge of syndicated data, including Circana, SPINS, & Nielsen. Experience working with customers on category management and making category recommendations.
  • Possess deep experience with omni-channel problem-solving skills and working with a cross-functional team.
  • Highly developed presentation and influence skills, including driving influence at multiple levels.
  • Ability to travel as needed
