Sr. Java/Sailpoint IAM Developer

In this role, you will: 

  • Design, develop, and implement custom SailPoint IdentityIQ connectors, workflows, rules, and policies. 
  • Write and optimize Java-based extensions, including custom provisioning and reconciliation logic. 
  • Develop complex Beanshell scripts and Java classes for IdentityIQ objects (Rules, Tasks, Connectors, etc.). 
  • Integrate SailPoint IIQ with external systems using REST APIs, JDBC, and message-based communication. 
  • Configure and maintain identity lifecycle management, access review, certification, and role management modules. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of SailPoint implementations. 
  • Stay up-to-date with SailPoint product updates, best practices, and security compliance requirements. 

Who You Are: 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ). 
  • Strong core Java development skills (object-oriented programming, exception handling, collections, multithreading, etc.). 
  • Proven experience developing custom IIQ components (connectors, workflows, rules, and tasks). 
  • Solid experience with Beanshell scripting, JSP, and XML. 
  • Strong understanding of identity governance concepts - provisioning, certification, RBAC, policies, and compliance. 
  • Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and directory technologies (LDAP, Active Directory). 
  • Experience with SQL/Oracle databases and query optimization. Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD tools is a plus. 

Preferred Skills 

  • SailPoint IdentityIQ certification (Engineer, Developer, or Architect). 
  • Experience integrating IIQ with SaaS applications (Workday, ServiceNow, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with cloud IAM platforms (Azure AD, Okta, etc.). 
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
