About the position

As a Technologies Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our technology product line and driving its success through strategic sourcing, market research, competitive analysis, pricing, and customer engagement. You will lead the way in identifying new product opportunities, managing supplier relations, and creating detailed product roadmaps. With your knowledge of technology product lines and your ability to analyze market data and customer feedback, you will be instrumental in driving our company's growth and achieving our objectives. Day in the life

  • Drive competitive sourcing by owning a supplier-centric product assortment that delivers the highest profit margin possible and manage the supply chain portfolio to ensure its success.
  • Ensure compliance to Master Supplier Agreements (MSAs) for all assigned suppliers and coordinate the management, maintenance and accuracy of item master data in INRS for smooth procurement experiences.
  • Coordinate and facilitate quarterly and annual meetings as needed with distributors, manufacturers and representative firms
  • Negotiate and manage cost-saving elements such as procurement, product cost, performance metrics, rebates etc. with assigned suppliers to achieve the lowest installed cost.
  • Address and resolve any known product and warranty issues with key suppliers to maintain positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Estimating, Project Managers and Field Operations to continuously improve service to both internal and external customers.
  • Expertise in managing supplier relationships, understanding of product lifecycle, and knowledge of product portfolios with various strategic suppliers and with technologies leaders to prepare and submit annual business plans.
  • Embrace ambiguity and strive for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to benefit the department and broader organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically in technology product management, sourcing, or supply chain management (specifically infrastructure, AV, security, wireless products, distributors and manufacturers)
  • Strong knowledge of technology product lines and applications, as well as alternative product substitutes and suppliers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyze market data and customer feedback
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong understanding of product development, sourcing, and supply chain management.
