Field Systems EngineerIntroduction:

This position is based out of our New Castle, DE office and involves providing on-site and remote support for clients across multiple offices. The Field Systems Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware/software issues, managing Microsoft 365 accounts, diagnosing network connectivity problems, and utilizing various remote support tools. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, able to work independently, and have experience in enterprise environments.

Requirements:Required Skills & Experience:
  • 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience
  • Proficiency troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and macOS endpoints
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD)
  • Experience with Active Directory and GPO basics
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and VPN troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently at client sites
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using a ticketing system (ConnectWise, Autotask, etc.)
  • Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:
  • Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with RMM tools (NinjaRMM, ConnectWise Automate, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MDM platforms (Intune, Addigy, etc.)
  • Exposure to backup solutions (Veeam, Datto, Acronis)
  • Basic knowledge of firewall/switch configuration (Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, Ubiquiti)
  • Experience supporting VoIP systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity basics
  • Experience supporting clients in financial, legal, or healthcare industries

Primary Office: New Castle, DE (required when not at client site)

Client Sites: New Castle, DE area and surrounding region
