Does this work interest you?

  • Own the full sales cycle for new machines, lidding, and retrofit opportunities, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
  • Drive revenue growth within the existing customer base through regular face-to-face engagement, ensuring satisfaction with current Modern and PDF Seal solutions while identifying expansion and upcoming project opportunities
  • Penetrate existing customers to increase account spend by positioning additional Modern and PDF Seal products and services
  • Proactively prospect and develop new business within defined target markets (Y.I.C.S., dips, sauces/dressings, fruit juice, and cups) to generate qualified machine and lidding opportunities
  • Execute a disciplined travel and call-planning strategy to maintain appropriate customer and prospect coverage and advance opportunities through the pipeline
  • Support and grow Modern and PDF Seal strategic accounts by working with peers to execute account plans
  • Leverage relationships with ProMach frequent partners to uncover, pursue, and close cross-selling opportunities

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000; Potential Commission Opportunity year 1: $0 - $100,000

  • 2+ years of proven sales experience
  • Engineering or technical degree preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex project pursuits from discovery to close
  • Ability to lead complex negotiations, define value propositions and strategies to improve the company's position, and ensure recurrent revenue streams
  • Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce knowledge preferred
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, as well as mechanical and electrical bill of materials
  • Track record of assessing customer needs and aligning customized solutions based on company services/offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Advanced interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel up to 70-80%, visiting prospects, existing customers, tradeshows, conferences, etc.
