Familiarity with infection surveillance software, data analysis tools, and healthcare regulatory standards like CDC and OSHA guidelines is often required. Remote Infection Control professionals often face challenges such as maintaining effective oversight without direct on-site presence, ensuring consistent implementation of protocols across multiple facilities, and staying updated on rapidly changing guidelines.
