As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Alliance Life Line Counseling, you will have the opportunity to engage with students and staff virtually, utilizing digital platforms to provide therapy and support. • Conduct initial assessments for assigned clients to identify mental health needs and develop personalized care plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions including individual, group, and family therapy to support clients facing major mental illnesses and emotional disorders.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, ensuring that treatment goals are met, and adjustments to care plans are made as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and community resources to coordinate care and create optimal support systems for students.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate support strategies to ensure client safety.
• Maintain compliance with all ethical standards and organizational guidelines, including timely documentation and reporting requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions and team meetings.
• Promote mental health awareness within the school community and advocate for students’ emotional well-being.

This role primarily serves school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom may struggle with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other emotional disturbances. The LCSW will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between educational success and mental health, ensuring that students receive the guidance and support necessary to thrive in their academic environment.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, ideally in school-based or community mental health settings.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues impacting school-aged youth.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to establish rapport with clients and families.
• Proficient in using technology for telehealth services and electronic health record management.

Experience working within a school environment, familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes, and knowledge of community resources to support families will be considered significant assets. Additional certifications in trauma-informed care or specialized therapeutic techniques may enhance your candidacy.

Alliance Life Line Counseling offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
