Job description

Established in 1994, Nite Lines USA has successfully delivered contract support services to more than 144 government institutions and medical treatment facilities across the country. Location: Dekalb Department of Public Health.

Payrate: $27.00 per hour.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-5:00pm (40 hours per week). This role can be worked Part -time as well. They are flexible with scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of two years' experience.
  • Locals are preferred for this role the position is located in Georgia.

No benefits or health insurance are being offered for the duration of this assignment. The assignment will be expected to last until September 2026 and can be extended, or you can apply for a permanent role depending on how things go during the duration of the contract assignment.

Duties:

  • Assess a minimum of 20 individual certification and benefit issuances daily by evaluating laboratory values, growth patterns, dietary, medical histories and socioeconomic status of patients in health department services.
  • Studies and applies federal and state regulations in determining eligibility and providing required nutrition services for participants in the WIC Supplemental Food and Nutrition Program.
  • Counsel patients regarding nutritional requirements appropriate to physiological needs.
  • Provides referral to other health department services and other public and private agencies as indicated by the assessment process.
