  • Contract Duration: 5 months contract to hire role

Job Description:

We are hiring for a HEDIS Supplemental Data role that focuses on improving the electronic exchange of clinical data rather than traditional medical chart retrieval. This is a more analytical and problem-solving position that supports the collection, review, and validation of clinical data from Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to ensure accurate HEDIS reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit clinical data from Electronic Medical Records (EMRs/EHRs) and other data sources.
  • Validate supplemental data received from providers and vendors to improve HEDIS quality measures.
  • Support the extraction of clinical data from provider EHR systems into the client's data warehouse.
  • Help transition HEDIS reporting from manual chart retrieval to automated electronic data exchange.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of medical record documentation for HEDIS reporting.

Required Experience:

  • Recent HEDIS experience (within recent 2 years)
  • Knowledge of HEDIS technical specifications and quality measures
  • Experience reviewing medical records
  • Clinical coding knowledge
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
  • RNs, LPN/LVN, Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Coders

Preferred Background:

  • Health plans or managed care
  • Large physician practices
