Program Manager – FT – DHS (Remote)

Location: Elizabeth City, NC (Remote - Must be within 1 hour commute)

We are actively seeking a Full Time Program Manager in support of the USCG.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Applicants selected may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded.

Work Description:

The Program Manager will oversee a contract in support of the United States Coast Guard CG-AIR. The scope of this contract includes administrative, procurement, logistics, and event planning support. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and retain a "Public Trust" or higher security clearance. Candidate must also be within 1 hour commute of Elizabeth City, NC. 

Responsibilities: The Program Manager will support tasks such as:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all contractor personnel matters and Government coordination (COR, CS, KO)
  • Ensure contractor personnel comply with all applicable CG-AIR, ALC, and company policies and procedures
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and facility access requirements for contractor personnel
  • Coordinate and manage contractor background investigations with the Government
  • Respond immediately to personnel issues identified by the Government and implement corrective actions, keeping the COR informed of resolution status
  • Oversee and coordinate employee removals with the COR as required
  • Provide mentorship and career guidance to contractor personnel
  • Maintain availability to be physically onsite within one (1) hour of Government notification

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five (5) years of experience managing personnel and operations in a Federal contracting environment
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing directly with Government stakeholders (e.g., COR, KO, program office)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear and timely status updates
  • Ability to respond to urgent personnel matters and operate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), DHS, or DoD programs
  • Familiarity with CG-AIR or Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) operations
  • Experience managing Service Contract Act (SCA) personnel
