Season: June through October

58 North is a luxury, remote fishing lodge located in the heart of Bristol Bay, Alaska. We provide a high-end culinary and hospitality experience for guests from around the world, combining exceptional fishing with refined dining in a wilderness setting.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to join our culinary team for the summer fishing season. This role is ideal for a skilled, adaptable chef who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and takes pride in delivering elevated cuisine with consistency and creativity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations

  • Prepare and execute high-quality meals for guests and staff

  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness

  • Support menu execution and daily prep

  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices

  • Work collaboratively with a small, professional kitchen team

  • Adapt to changing menus and guest needs in a remote lodge setting

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie

  • Strong foundational cooking skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work long hours in a seasonal, high-demand environment

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset

  • Experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or remote lodges preferred
