Welcome to the Revenue Cycle IT Support Team. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that provides support for operational needs and requests, while also contributing to projects and system go-lives. This team is responsible for support of Epic Resolute Hospital and Professional billing, including claims and remits.

For this role as a Systems Management Analyst on the Revenue Cycle team, you will play a key role in configuring, maintaining, and supporting the professional billing system and workflows. You will partner closely with operations and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, efficient data flow across systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes that support revenue integrity and timely reimbursement.

You'llenjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Provide subject matter expertise in Epic Professional Billing, including system design, building, testing, implementation, and security
  • Collaborate with leadership and end users to design and configure solutions, providing technical and clinical consultation, including workflow analysis and application configuration to support enhancements and issue resolution
  • Participate in multiple small to medium-scale Epic upgrade initiatives and workflow enhancements through all project phases
  • Facilitate design and validation sessions, ensuring thorough documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation
  • Maintain system documentation, including design specifications and build records
  • Monitor production applications and respond to incidents
  • Execute all phases of testing, including unit, system, and integrated testing for Epic Professional Billing
  • Analyze workflows, data collection, reporting needs, and technical issues to support solution development
  • Collaborate with training teams to develop and maintain application-specific training materials
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications; manage system updates, enhancements, and release testing
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards for system configuration and change control
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with end users, stakeholders, and business partners
  • Facilitate communication across teams from requirements gathering through implementation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating complex problems as appropriate
  • Maintain knowledge of Epic functionality and operational workflows

Required Qualifications: 

  • Active Epic certification in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Administration
  • 1 years of experience with Epic implementation and/or support
  • Ability to participate in on-call after hours rotation.  Estimated to occur for 1 week every 2-3 weeks (after hours and weekend on call periods) (Allina only)
  • Ability to participate in projects and upgrades requiring after hours availability as business needs dictate (for Epic Upgrades, implementations, other application upgrades)

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Additional Epic certifications (Ex: Resolute PB Admin, Epic HB Claims, etc.) 
  • 3 years of experience with Epic implementation and/or support
  • 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Epic security administration, CDM/Charge Handler, Charge Router, and/or General Ledger Extracts
  • Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues through clear, effective communication

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,00 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
